POST 9# CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello everyone! Today’s topic is “changes to my study programme”. This is an important topic in our university life, because we have to be able to know how we want to be prepared to the professional life.
This is my first year studying architecture, and in the first semester, I had subjects like math, geometry, history and architecture workshop. I think that all the subject have to be important to our development like students of architecture. Actually, the academic system and ourselves, prioritize the architecture workshop above the other subjects. In architecture workshop, we have a lot of workload and sometimes we prefer to do the things to this subject. I really like this subject, but there is a lot to do.
When I started my studies in the faculty, it was a little disappointing. Sometimes the infrastructure does not help us to work in our projects or things like that, because there is no space or maybe because is full of people. I think that the faculty does not have sufficient buildings to all the people studying here. One thing that surprised me was the low quantity of sport areas, because in this faculty, there is a lot of stress and the sports are a good way to relax yourself and take away your worries about the lessons.
I think that the use of technology here is not bad, but we could do it better.
The teaching methods in the faculty are so different between teachers. This is a good thing, because you can have different ways to see a problem and give a solution. I like the teachers that innovate and try new technics to teach. Because the architecture changes and the teaching method have to change with the architecture.

  1. the same happened to me, I had to give more time and effort to workshop and put aside the others subject. Maybe this is not the best.

  2. I don't like the idea of the workshop being more important than the other subjects, although is kind of true.
