POST 4# FREE THEMED TOPIC "FOOD"

The today´s topic is one of my favorites … the food. It’s difficult for me to choose only one, but I think that my favorite food is the “humitas”. When I was a child, every summer, my grandma used to cook “humitas” for all the family, and we liked to spend time together eating humitas.

I like to cook but I’m not a master chef in the kitchen. When I’m cooking a recipe I really try to follow the rules, but I don’t like to follow the rules, so the result isn´t good.

At university I usually eat “fajitas”. I live alone and sometimes I don’t have so much time to cook, and I must buy something to eat. When I cook for myself I like to eat cus-cus and salad.

I have a favorite restaurant in Coyhaique called “mamma gaucha”. In Mamma Gaucha, they have Italian food, pizza, “tartaros”, artisanal beer and a very comfortable social environment. I really recommend it.

 

I love the food. I think the food can connect people and give you a lot of memories across the flavors.
